Amanda Elliott was born in Florida, spent most of her childhood in Spartanburg, and now resides in Western North Carolina. She graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 2003, and studied Criminal Justice and Journalism at the University Of South Carolina Upstate, graduating in 2010, where she was editor-in-chief of the student newspaper. Amanda has worked in newspaper and magazine design, as a writer, and enjoys creating CRS’ marketing and promotional works. She has volunteered at the Carl Sandburg National Historic Site’s goat farm and at a women’s crisis shelter thrift store. Her interests include spending time with her husband and young children, hiking, dancing, writing, and gardening.
