CRS started organically, it grew out of the need for a breath of fresh air into an industry on the cusp of exploding. Our founder, Debbie Gentry was serving as CFO of a successful container company, and partnered with the operations manager of a staffing firm located in Greenville as an impetus for forming CRS. Debbie managed over 100 long-term contingent employees, and was often frequented by local staffing companies in attempts to obtain her business.
After many discussions, over several years, an idea blossomed and began to take shape.
CRS formed with an impassioned idea to build a powerhouse staffing company that would employ workers with varying skill-sets and service locations throughout the Southeast. By combining experiences in staffing, HR and financial worlds, the team of CRS continues to build a world class staffing firm. CRS is committed to servicing our clients and employees. CRS has obtained national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Greater Women’s Business Council, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Greater Women’s Business Council is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman.
